I put this site out last night with my buddy InfamousJeanClaude to showcase our extreme love for design and music. We are handpicking a batch of songs each week and designing our own covers to portray the unique theme of each playlist.
We will also be taking user submissions over the next few days as we continue to clean up the backend of the site. We will notify you guys when you will be able to send in your own playlist to us for your own custom cover design, based on our interpretation of your music choices. The cover and the playlist will be posted promptly to the site for others to view and download.
[If you have been following me for some time], do you remember a release entitled “Black Moses” I was planning to release a little over a year and a half ago? I posted my sob story online as to why it was never released, and that same reason has returned again.
I’ve had my Macbook Pro since the summer of 2006, and it has had hard drive failure once already. The second one is now here. I had a client come over to drop off some sketches for his site 2 days ago, and as I attempted to power it on , the screen stared at me entirely black.
After struggling with it for several hours, I managed to retrieve some of the more important files off of it, but this problem has hindered my progress just a bit.
Alas, be patient with me guys. I don’t have a computer to work off of just yet, but I’m confident that something positive will happen soon. I’m still pushing for an August release for:
Almost Remembered.
Stay champion.
My good good friend InfamousJeanClaude out of Charlotte, NC has made it to New York to showcase some more of his work. His story is truly a testament, his inheritance of hard work and dedication is like no other. This dude and I have been tossing work back and forth from some time now, and I can honestly say I’m proud of his accomplishments. His plate is always full, but never hesitates to come back for seconds because he stays hungry. I resized the banner flyer, so the venue location may be a bit difficult to read, but nonetheless be sure to attend his art show in Brooklyn this month as follows:
